WE'RE IN BRICKELL NOW: THE MIAMI CONVERTIBLES BRICKELL LOCATION IS OPEN
Some announcements deserve more than a press release. This one deserves the whole story.
As of this month, the Miami Convertibles Brickell location is open at 1395 Brickell Ave — right in the middle of the Financial District, surrounded by the towers, hotels, and bayfront energy that make Brickell feel like the future of Miami arriving early. It's our fifth pickup point. It's also the one we've been asked for the most.

FROM ONE FAMILY IN MIAMI BEACH TO FIVE PICKUP POINTS
Miami Convertibles started in 2012 with a simple frustration. Leo, our founder, had come up inside a major corporate rental company — he'd seen the machine from the inside. He watched excited travelers book the car of their trip, then get handed the keys to “or similar.” He watched quoted rates balloon with fees nobody mentioned until the counter. And he decided a family business could simply… not do that.
So we didn't. From day one in Miami Beach, the promise was the opposite of the industry playbook: the exact model you book is the car that's waiting, the price you see is the price you pay, and you're a guest — not a reservation number. It started small, the way family businesses do, and grew one convertible — and one returning guest — at a time: first the Mustangs that became our signature, then the Jeeps, the Boxster, the Corvette. Fourteen years, the largest Mustang convertible fleet in Florida, and more than 1000 5 start reviews later, that promise hasn't moved an inch.
Growth, for us, has never meant becoming the thing Leo left. Every new location has had to pass the same test: does this make a guest's day simpler? Airport pickup passed because nobody should start a vacation in a line. Downtown passed because cruise days are short and precious. Brickell passes for the most obvious reason yet.
“Leo saw the machine from the inside — and built the opposite.”

WHY BRICKELL, WHY NOW
Honestly? Because you kept telling us to. Year after year, guests booked from Brickell hotels and Brickell towers, then trekked to Miami Beach, Downtown or the airport to pick up. The neighborhood grew into Miami's densest concentration of visitors and residents — people who live vertically, walk everywhere, and don't own a car because most days they don't need one.
Most days. Then Saturday shows up sunny, and the Keys start whispering, and suddenly the one thing missing in the Financial District is a garage with a convertible in it and your name on the booking. That's the gap we just closed. Brickell isn't a detour from where our guests are — it is where our guests are.
It's also, frankly, where Miami is going. The neighborhood has spent a decade stacking new towers, new hotels, and new reasons to visit into one walkable grid on the bay. When people talk about Brickell as one of Miami's fastest-growing neighborhoods, this is what they mean: more people arriving every year who will, at some point on a perfect blue afternoon, want a convertible within walking distance. We wanted to be there before they went looking.
WHAT “FAMILY-OWNED” ACTUALLY MEANS HERE
“Family-owned” gets printed on a lot of things. Here's what it means in practice at Miami Convertibles: the pickup instructions on your phone were written by the same people who answer when you call. The policies fit on one page because a family gets to decide that fees hiding in the fine print just aren't who we are. When something unexpected happens — a delayed flight, a change of plans — you're talking to people in Miami with the authority to actually help, not a script in a call center three time zones away. Fourteen years in, most of what we know about hospitality came directly from guests telling us what the big companies got wrong. Brickell gets all of that from day one.
WHAT GUESTS GET ON BRICKELL AVENUE
The new location runs on the same system our guests already love at the airports or the rest of the self-service locations — with one nice upgrade: our team is actually in the building. Upstairs from the garage is our staffed administrative home base — the desk where the family actually works. But pickup was designed so you never have to wait on a human being, because your time in Miami is worth more than any lobby:
· Book online and select Brickell pickup at checkout.
· Step-by-step instructions arrive on your phone before your rental.
· Your convertible waits in the garage of the same building at 1395 Brickell Ave.
· Follow the steps, drop the top, and pull onto the avenue.
Self-service, contactless, no counter — and if you ever do want a person, we're upstairs. That combination is the whole philosophy in miniature: technology where it saves you time, family where it counts.
THE SAME PROMISE, NEW ZIP CODE
A new neighborhood doesn't mean new fine print. Every promise that built this company crosses the bridge with us: the exact model you book — never “or similar.” Transparent, all-in pricing with no counter surprises. A SunPass in every car so the causeways just work. Contactless pickup with real humans behind it. Model guaranteed · color based on availability — same as it's said since the beginning.
“New zip code. Same promise. Never “or similar.”
FIVE PICKUP POINTS, ONE SYSTEM
Brickell completes a map we've been drawing for years. Miami Beach remains home base — our HQ at 237 20th St, steps from Collins and the sand. Downtown / Port of Miami at 256 NE 2nd St catches cruise travelers before and after the ship. MIA and FLL run fully contactless, so flying in doesn't mean lining up. And now Brickell anchors the Financial District. Five doors, one booking system, one promise — pick whichever is closest to where your trip actually starts, and the experience is identical: instructions on your phone, the exact model you booked, keys without a counter.
THE CARS ON THE AVENUE
What can you book with Brickell pickup? The whole family. The Mustang Convertible — flagship of the largest Mustang convertible fleet in Florida — seats four, comes with unlimited miles, and welcomes drivers 21 and up. The Mustang GT adds the V8 for drivers 25+. The Corvette C8 Convertible (28+) brings mid-engine drama with a one-touch power hardtop. The Jeep Wrangler — available doorless — and the leather-trimmed Jeep Sahara handle the open-air-adventure end of the spectrum, and the Porsche Boxster covers date night. Every spec, photo, and price is on the fleet page, and every rate is all-in.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD SUITS US
There's a poetry to this address we won't pretend we don't enjoy. Brickell is Miami's most vertical neighborhood — and we're in the business of removing roofs. Pull out of the garage and you're minutes from the Rickenbacker Causeway, ten from Coconut Grove's banyan tunnels, one bridge from Ocean Drive. The skyline that looks so good from your balcony looks even better framed by a windshield with nothing above it. Even the commute-hour view works in your favor here: while the avenue fills with people heading into towers, you'll be heading out from under all of them, top down, with the whole peninsula on the menu.
WHAT'S NEXT ON THE AVENUE
The Brickell location will grow the way everything here grows — shaped by the people who use it. In the coming months you'll see more of the new spot on our Instagram (@MiamiConvertibles), including proper photos of the cars against that skyline once we've had a chance to do the neighborhood justice. If you pick up in Brickell in these first weeks, you're part of the founding class — tell us what would make it even smoother. We're famously easy to reach, and unlike the big guys, suggestions here travel about one flight of stairs before someone acts on them.
One practical note for the road: everything you already know about booking with us applies unchanged. Same website, same transparent all-in rates, same SunPass in every car, same one-page policies. Just look for Brickell in the pickup options at checkout — it's live now — and the newest garage in the family takes it from there.
A THANK-YOU, AND AN INVITATION
To the guests who've been asking for this since we were one location in Miami Beach: this one's yours. Thank you for the years of “when are you coming to Brickell?” messages — the answer, at last, is now. To Brickell locals meeting us for the first time: we're the family that guarantees the actual car, prices like adults, and thinks the best rental experience is the one where nobody stands in line. Come see us — or don't, and just drive out of the garage. Either way: welcome to the family.
